Facebook Page

We have a GLASC Facebook Page that is for Members Only.

Here is how it works:

ANYONE can search for the GLASC Facebook page at any time when using Facebook.   You will be sent to our page, but you will not be able to see any information or posts made to the page until you are added to the group by one of the page administrators.  Your Facebook Avatar or photo WILL be visible to anyone who searches for this page.  They are visible on the public part of the page.  Keep that in mind before you add yourself to the group if you are worried about remaining anonymous.

Once you have been added by one of the administrators, you will be able to use the Facebook Page to contact other members, reply to polls, and get reminders about upcoming events, even check the latest issue of Reflections – right on your own Facebook page.  We have added links and information from our current website and will link to the new website when it comes on-line.  Depending on your own individual privacy settings for Facebook, YOU will be able to control how visible the GLASC Facebook page will be to the rest of your friends and family.

Be aware that your own page WILL post that you have joined the GLASC Facebook page.  That is something that we have not been able to work around, so again, if you are worried about remaining anonymous you will have to think about this.

We hope that many of you will consider trying out our new GLASC Facebook page.
